This is an updated review because I thought the phone was locked into T-Mobile. However, it is not. The problem is I had already reached out to mobile unlocked to get them to unlock it for me. Make sure you check very well before you use the company. You pay $26 us for them to check it. That was all fine and good. They should have been able to come back and tell me that the phone was actually unlocked. However they still made me pay the 50 something dollars to continue unlocking it, and that's when I found out that I didn't need a code and that my SIM card worked fine anyway. So they are money Grabbers. I haven't heard back from them since. It made sense for me to pay the 20 something dollars for them to check it, but they should have told me that nothing else was required after that. So make sure you check before you pay for a program like that! The phone is really great. One kind of LG velvet is that it doesn't work great with family link. Other than that, I'm pleased with my purchase :-)
